Bishops of 14 european countries pray together for victims of genocidal holodomor

The Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC), Patriarch Sviatoslav (Shevchuk) is praying for the victims of the Genocidal Holodomor together with the Catholic bishops of the Eastern Rite in Zagreb where they are having an annual meeting.
The bishops from 14 countries are praying for the healing of the wounds of the Ukrainian nation inflicted by the Genocide of 1932-1933 and against reoccurrence of similar tragedies.
On the eve of the event, in answer to the question if the wounds of Ukrainians have healed, Patriarch Sviatoslav stated in an interview to the edition “Our Sobor” that when such a tremendous human tragedy is silenced, it is not conducive to healing of the wounds.
“We still have to become mature enough for everyone, who denies the fact of the Genocide in Ukraine, to be considered both in Ukraine and worldwide as an accomplice or person justifying this crime which cannot be justified!” said the Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. So reported the Infprmation Department of UGCC.
